"TeBOWIE" - A Hilarious New Skit by Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon has really outdone himself with his new character that combines the latest cultural phenomenon, Tim Tebow with rock icon and legend David Bowie. This produces Fallon's new character, TeBOWIE. TeBOWIE was unveiled this past Thursday on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and has since gone viral.

This is absolutely genius concept. During his skit Fallon uses the music to the famous song Space Oddity by David Bowie. In it, he wittingly replaces the words to fit Tim Tebow communicating with Jesus Christ and vice versa. This produces a hilarious spin on Tim Tebow and his beliefs about who is helping him win football games.

While a similar concept was done on Saturday Night Live a few weeks back, with Jesus visiting the Broncos locker room after a game and telling Tim Tebow he needed to "back up and give the Holy Ghost a little space." and that Tebow needed to focus on doing things himself, which Fallon also does, this one is done in an even funnier manner.

For those of you who are too young to remember the famous song by David Bowie, I have put the original lyrics below along with Fallon's new lyrics.

This skit will surely become an all time classic in the realm of Adam Sandler's Hannukah Song, Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo's take on Ebony and Ivory by Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra, and other great iconic skits that have been done over the years. Although, I am pretty sure this will make many die hard Tebow fans very upset.
